Congratulations to those who have had the blog updated every week! You've done a great job!! I hope it's helped you too!!

Today we're starting with the short oral presentations you had to prepare for this class. Let's all pay attention!!

1) As you listen, take some notes and try to pay special attention to similarities and differences between the different religions.

2) Let's make a comparison chart all together.

3) Work with your partner and upload the complete comparison chart!!

4) Once you've finished, try to make an oral presentation or a brief summary gathering all the information from the chart.

5) Now, we'll talk about next class' midterm!! Let's discuss what we're going to talk about!!

We're coming to the end of this term! You've worked very well!!

Let's go to our task!!

1. Please remember to write a title in every post you've done. This way it's clear and easy to read!

2. As you have chosen a definition for your religion, make a graphic organizer and share your ideas with the class.

3. Pay attention to your classmates' presentation. You'll have to think 2 questions to ask your mates. What would you like to know about every religion? Write and give the questions to each group.

4. Surf the net and find the answers for your classmates' questions.

5. Find information about the following:    beginning of your religion.
                                                           countries where it's practiced
                                                           General beliefs: Gods, truths, rules.

6. Represent the information through a summary or a graphic organizer. Then, exchange with another group.

7. Read the information on your classmate's religion and prepare a short oral presentation for next class.

Well done!! Next class, we're going to discuss all together about some food laws, holy places and rituals!!

You've been doing a fantastic work during these weeks!! We're almost done!!

LET'S WORK!!

1- As we're spending some time with our German friends, we'll make an interview to them about their beliefs.
Make a questionnaire and ask questions to our German students. Find out about their beliefs, their religions, if they know anything about the religion you're dealing with, etc. Mind your grammar!!

2. Take a picture of the questionnaire and retell what the student's answers were. Write a short paragraph and give your opinion. Did something call your attention??

3- Surf the net and make a picture representing your work on religions during these weeks. You'll use this picture from now on everytime you present or post information.

4- Surf the net and find at least three different resources explaining briefly what is your religion about. Transcribe and provide the complete resource information.

5. After reading all the information, describe briefly with your own words what is your religion about.

6. Surf the net and find 3 important characteristic that called your attention and describe them.
